How long does the battery last on an electric cycle?
Voltebyk electric cycle batteries typically deliver 25 km to 65 km per single full charge depending on the battery size (36V 5.5Ah, 10Ah, or 15Ah) and whether you use Pure Throttle or Pedal Assist. In terms of overall battery lifespan, our Grade-A Lithium-Ion cells last 3 to 5 years (800–1000 recharge cycles).
Can I convert my normal cycle to electric?
Yes! With a Voltebyk Electric Cycle Conversion Kit (starting from ₹9,990), you can convert virtually any standard bicycle (Hero, Firefox, Atlas, etc.) into a powered e-bike in 60-120 minutes. Check our Conversion Kit Guide or visit a local store for installation help.
Do I need a license or registration for electric cycles in India?
No. All Voltebyk electric cycles and conversion kits come with 250W BLDC motors and a maximum speed of 25 km/h, which are classified as non-motorised cycles under Indian Central Motor Vehicle Rules. No driving license or RTO registration is required.
