Operation, Maintenance, and Safety Instructions

It is mandatory to read and understand this manual before your first ride.

1. Pre-Ride Checklist

  • ✅ Check tire pressure (inflate to the PSI marked on the tire sidewall).
  • ✅ Test both front and rear brakes for responsiveness.
  • ✅ Ensure the battery is securely locked into the frame.
  • ✅ Inspect all quick-release levers and bolts for tightness.
  • ✅ Wear a properly fitted, certified bicycle helmet.

2. Basic Operation

Powering On: Press and hold the power button on the display. Ensure your feet are off the pedals to prevent accidental engagement of the pedal-assist sensor.

Pedal Assist System (PAS):Use the + and - buttons to adjust the assist level. Start on Level 1 until you are comfortable with the motor's acceleration.

Throttle: If your model is equipped with a throttle, apply it gently. Rapid application can cause the cycle to lurch forward.

3. Safety & Usage Prohibitions

For your safety and to maintain your warranty, the following are STRICTLY PROHIBITED:

  • 🚫 Speed Modifications: Tampering with the display settings to bypass the factory speed limiter is illegal on public roads and instantly voids your warranty.
  • 🚫 Aftermarket Modifications: Splicing wires, adding high-voltage accessories, or installing third-party motors/controllers poses a severe fire risk.
  • 🚫 Submersion: Do not ride through deep water. The electrical components are water-resistant, not waterproof.
  • 🚫 Overloading: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity stated for your model. Do not carry multiple passengers unless the cycle is explicitly designed for it.

4. Battery & Charging Care

Please refer to our dedicated Battery & Charging Safety Disclaimer for detailed instructions on safe charging and storage. Always use the provided charger and never charge unattended.

5. Routine Maintenance

  • Weekly: Clean the chain and apply bicycle-specific lubricant. Check tire pressure.
  • Monthly: Inspect brake pads for wear. Check all spokes and bolts for tightness.
  • Every 6 Months: We recommend a full tune-up at an authorized cycle repair shop.
